Best Specialty Coffee in Phuket, Thailand

Phuket is a Digital Nomad hotspot and if you love specialty coffee, then Phuket is the place to be!

There are so many coffee shops, that each day you could discover a new one. Phuket is a big island, so I’m sure there are many other coffee spots that I haven’t tried.

Nevertheless, here’s a list of my favorite specialty coffee shops in Phuket.

Scroll down to the end of the post to see a map with all the coffee places marked.

Graph Coffee

Graph coffee is located in Phuket Old Town. It’s a good place to work for a bit too, as they have decent wifi and tables.

Other than really good coffee, they also have amazing Canele pastries which you have to try! They are super crunchy on the outside and so soft in the inside. Graph is a cafe that originates from a place close to Bangkok and now they have several locations across Thailand.

The Shelter Coffee Phuket

This little cafe is also located in Phuket Old Town. Next to excellent coffee, they also serve pretty good breakfast options.

It’s quite a small cafe so not a great option to work from.

MŌMUS coffee

Momus coffee is also located right in the center of Phuket Old Town, and sits right next to Graph Coffee. They serve good coffee and also have a few breakfast options. It’s a bit too small to work from there, so I wouldn’t recommend doing that.

Campus Coffee Roasters

Yet another specialty coffee place in Phuket Old Town! (There are so many!) This one is also a roaster and they also have some really nice pastries. It’s also a good spot to work from for a few hours, though it can get a bit busy at times.

RestDay Coffee Bar & Bake House

At the edge of Old Town lies this wonderful cafe, which serves excellent coffee and is also a great spot to work from. Head upstairs to find more tables to work from, as well as free water.

Slow thrive coffee house

Located to the north of Phuket old Town, in a neighborhood called “Mu Ban Bu Kittra” lies this cute cafe tucked in one of the small side streets. The coffee they serve is excellent and they also have some very tasty bagels.

Hohiho Restaurant & Cafe

We loved this fancy cafe and restaurant that was close to . They serve great coffee and also have some amazing breakfast and brunch options.

It’s located more on a quiet street, and surrounded by a beautiful garden, which made for a very tranquil setting. You can also sit outside (provided you can deal with the heat!).

BARTELS Bang Tao

Bartels was one of our favorite breakfast and coffee stops before heading to the beach at Bang Tao or Surin Beach. Not only do they have excellent coffee, but they are also a bakery and have some delicious sourdough sandwiches which I would highly recommend! It does tend to get fairly crowded (at least in high season) so try to come early. It’s a fairly large cafe, so it is quite good to work from there, however, it can get very busy.

Sitsip Coffee

This place is a hidden gem and is located right next to a famous lunch spot called Kin-Kub-Ei (which I’d recommend to try also, actually!).

The small cafe is situated in a lush garden, and it’s so lovely to sip your coffee in the quiet garden, away from the hustle and bustle. This one is also on the way to Surin and Bang Tao beach, so it’s a great stop over if you are headed to any of those beaches.

sync coffee bar & roastery

Even though we didn’t manage to go to this cafe, I still had it starred on my Google maps as it looks like they have really good coffee! sync coffee is located at Kamala beach.

Street Cafe - Espresso Bar

This tiny cafe is located in Kata beach. They have some great coffee as well as pastries.
