Best Spa’s in Bangkok

Thailand - the land of smiles and..massages.

One of the perks of living in this gorgeous country is of course the wise range and availability of spa’s and massage parlours that are available across all different price points.

During my time in Bangkok, I have tried quite a few different spa spots and decided to share them here on my blog.

Here’s a list of some of my favourite spa’s I have tried (so far) in Bangkok!

Preme Spa

A Spa reception with a wooden floor and a tea

Preme Spa in Thonglor is one of my go-to spa’s in Bangkok, because I think the value for money is high. There are actually a few locations: Preme Spa Main Branch (in Thonglor, close to the BTS), Preme Spa Sanctuary (also in Thonglor) and Preme Pavilion (near Icon Siam).

I used to live around 5 minute walking from Preme Spa and would go there almost every weekend. Ah, the joys of living in Thailand 😄

Mandarin Ginger Spa

Another favourite spa of mine in Thonglor is this slightly hidden Spa in Soi Sukhumvit 59, called Mandaring Ginger Spa. I think the massage is really great and I love the aroma oils they use. It’s just a 10 minute walk from the Thonglor BTS station as well.

  • Tier: $$

  • Price: 1200 TBH for a 60 minute Aromatherapy massage; 600 THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking: get a spa voucher on GetYourGuide

Raku Spa

This spa is located up north in the Thonglor neighbourhood. What I particularly liked about this place is that the massage beds were super soft and also heated.

They have a treatment called “Have a good sleep” massage which was super relaxing and I definitely had an amazing sleep afterwards.

  • Tier: $$

  • Price: 1000 TBH for a 90 minute Aromatherapy massage; XX THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

Makkha Spa

a mango sticky rice on a plate and a tea

Makkha spa has several locations in Bangkok; I generally go to the one located close to Phrom Phong BTS station. I loved the Aromatherapy treatment here and I also once had the Indian head massage.

What I like about this place is that you get mango sticky rice and tea after your treatment (see picture above), which is quite delicious.

  • Tier: $$

  • Price: 1390 TBH for a 60 minute Aromatherapy massage; 850 THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking: book directly on Klook (this is the Asok location)

AURASOL Spa

I haven’t tried this spa yet but it’s high on my spa bucket list in Bangkok! It is located in the Sathorn area and it seems to be a very beautifully designed spa and wellness center.

The prices seem decent as well, and they’ve got some interesting massage and wellness treatments, such as the Thai Rice & Coconut Body Scrub.

  • Tier: $$

  • Price: 1450 TBH for a 60 minute Aromatherapy massage; 1100 THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking:You can book via Klook

Ikigai Spa

Ikigai Spa is located in the Craftsmen Hotel in the up and coming neighbourhood of Ari.

When you enter the spa salon, you immediately feel zen, as you wait in the Japanese style waiting room.

Each massage room also has a shower, which is quite practical in case you want to wash off some of the massage oil after your treatment.

  • Tier: $$

  • Price: TBH for a 60 minute Aromatherapy massage; XX THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking: book directly on Klook

Oasis Spa

One of the more luxury spa’s in Bangkok, Oasis Spa is located in the Phrom Phong area and features a beautiful garden space, which makes it a tranquil sanctuary.

Next to massages, they’ve also got a range of interesting treatments such as body scrubs, body scrubs, facials and hydrotherapy.

  • Tier: $$$

  • Price: 1500 TBH for a 60 minute Aromatherapy massage; 1700 THB for a 120 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking: book directly on Klook

Nakhon Spa

A tray with Thai sweets and fruit and a tea cup and flowerrs

Nakhon Spa is located in the Emsphere Tower, which is next to the Emsphere Mall. This spa is a little more luxurious so it’s more on the higher end of spa spots.

What I love about this spa is that before and after your massage treatment, you can relax at the window and sip your drink while looking out on Benjasiri park and Phrom Phong. When you arrive, they have a selection of really nice welcome drinks available and after your massage, you get a platter of small Thai sweet with some tea.

Siesta Head Spa

If you’re looking for a slightly different treatment, try out this spa that focuses specifically on head massages and scalp & hair treatments.

You lie down in a extremely comfortable chair and they wash your hair while also giving you a head massage. Afterwards, they blow-dry your hair too, so your hair is super shiny and smooth afterwards. This experience is so relaxing.. I had some of the best sleep of my life after this treatment!

  • Tier: $$$

  • Price: Starting from 1500 TBH for a 60 minute head and hair spa treatment

  • Book: Book via their website

Loft Spa

A spa lobby with sofas and an open spa menu

There are several Loft spa locations in Bangkok: one right next to Phrom Phong BTS station, called Loft Thai Spa & Wellness, and another one located further down Soi 38 in Thonglor. I liked the vibe of the one in Thonglor, because the spa is inside a beautifully designed Thai building.

  • Tier: $$$

  • Price: 2000TBH for a 90 minute Aromatherapy massage; 1000 THB for a 60 minute Thai Massage

  • Booking:book directly on Klook (link for the one at Sukhumvit 24, next to Phrom Phong BTS)
